Annual Parking Scotland Conference will be held virtually on the 3rd and 4th March 2021.
To kick off 2021, the British Parking Association is presenting the Parking Scotland Conference. This virtual conference will bring together professionals from across the parking sector for two days of thought-provoking content.
Whether you reside in Scotland or not, the conference has been designed to ensure there is something for everyone. You’ll find sessions focused on the practical questions facing Scottish authorities right now, including pavement parking, use of camera technology and issuing PCN’s for foreign vehicles.
Other sessions will focus on wider industry considerations such as planning for future parking demands, sustainable transport, EV and pricing policy. Now, more than ever, it is important that we come together to offer support and solutions, as we look to a brighter future for the parking sector. The conference is FREE to attend, but we ask, if you can, for a donation to the BPA members’ chosen charity Macmillan.
Our Sales Manager UK and Ireland, Chris Heddle, will take part on the Panel about Sustainable Travel which is taking place at 10-11 GMT on the 4th March.
This is the Session overview: Air quality has vastly improved as a result of the pandemic, but how do we continue to build upon the reduction in emissions and what role does the parking sector play? This session will explore some of the possible solutions including active travel and the Park Active initiative, alternative fuel types and ways to nudge and reward greener travel choices.
The conference is FREE to attend. Click here - For the full programme and registration links.
