El Monte to Debut `Smart Parking’ System - mynewsla.com

The city of El Monte is trying to make it easier for drivers to find parking spaces by installing a high-tech parking guidance system at its Metrolink and Main Street lots.

The system will offer digital turn-by-turn signage to nearly 400 parking spaces. Additionally, a city-branded Cleverciti Guidance app will be available for mobile convenience.

As drivers approach the two lots, they will be greeted by LED signs affixed to existing lamp posts and displaying live parking information in 360 degrees, clearly directing motorists to available parking.
